Apartment or hotel room? A short guide
When an apartment with a kitchen makes sense, when a classic room does - and what actually changes in comfort.
Choosing between an apartment and a hotel room comes down to three things: how long you are staying, how many of you there are, and how much freedom you need.
A longer stay
Beyond three days a kitchenette and a washing machine stop being an extra and become an everyday convenience. You do not have to eat every meal out.
Family and groups
Separate bedrooms mean the children sleep soundly and the adults get their evening. In a single hotel room that compromise rarely works.
Privacy
An apartment gives you your own space – a living room to sit down in with a coffee, and a door you can close.
If you are coming for one night on business, a room will do. In every other scenario the apartment wins.
